Growing succulents reminds us of the adage “less is more.” In a home setting, water them every 10 to 20 days in summer and once a month in winter. Overwatering is what most often kills this group of plants, as it causes rotting of the stem. Allow the soil to dry out between watering and use a soil mix that encourages good drainage.
