Answer

Dwarf hostas are lovely plants.  We suggest that you contact the American Hosta Society, which also includes information about dwarf or miniature hostas.  There you will find regional locations.  Region 2 includes Pennsylvania, http://www.sewisconsinhosta.org/AHS_Memb_Broch_REV.pdf, where you can get information about local sources for the plants.  These plants are also considered to be miniature perennials.  You might also check with the Pittsburgh Botanical Garden for local groups devoted to miniature perennials, and reliable sources where you will be able to buy the plants. www.pittsburghbotanicgarden.org.
