I would like to plant a small tree (short and narrow) in my back patio. There is an alley behind it with power lines.

What kind of petite tree (or large and narrow shrub) would work best in this scenario? Thanks!

The following are suggestions for evergreen small, narrow trees:  Ilex crenata 'Skypencil', Cephalotaxus harringtonia 'Fastigiata', Taxus (yew with several columnar cultivars).
