Q

Would a plumeria tree survive the freezing temps of PA over winter?

Purchased a plumeria "branchling" in Hawaii, is now 4-5' tall. Is 3 yrs old and flowered this year! Is planted in the largest pot I can find so it can be moved if needed

Answer

It would be a shock if it worked. Plumeria is a tropical plant, fine to put it outside in the summer but it will not survive Pa. winters out of doors.
