Neighbor's mulberry tree removed 7-27. Its roots heaved up my patio bricks. Is there a safe/green way to speed up root decomposition?

If it is removing bricks and cutting/shaving roots is there a company you recommend?

Ask friends and neighbors in your neighborhood for a recommendation for a good stone mason (that does patios, walkways, etc.). Masons will remove the bricks, dig up the roots, remove them and relay the bricks for you.
