My Potted Golden Trumpet has continued to decline.

I did repot and got extra inch. Root ball seemed ok. Has a sunny spot and well draining pot. It has always bounced back in years past but now down to one healthy stalk with green leaves. No buds. Been in the rain a lot lately but was down to one stalk from me cutting back blackening stalks for last 2 months.

Any other ideas?

It sounds as if it may be overwatered. Try bringing it inside when rain is predicted.
