Last fall I discovered I have the deadly Rosette disease on 4 of my roses, including Eden, and French antique roses.

Since then I have noticed it all over Phila and Lafayette Hill, including the roses in flower beds at Love Park near city hall. What is the best way to prevent it from spreading. I have removed the infected roses, but I have many roses in my garden.

Rose rosette disease can be spread by multiflora roses.  If you see any of these in the area

where you live you might want to remove them.

You also might want to treat your other roses with a 3 in 1 rose treatment (Bayer) as

a preventive measure.  Since you have removed your infected roses you have

done as much as possible.
