I am a botany student who is studying meadows and will be out there soon for the summer. Which PA area gardens, preserves have the largest or best ones? Thanks

Ann Rhoads and Timothy Block have written the consummate book on Pa. plants called The Plants of Pennsylvania. Ann is the recently retired head of botany at the University of Pennsylvania and Tim is her successor. They have been to every conceivable habitat in Pa. including many meadows. If the book is not enough, you can try getting in touch with Timothy through the Morris Arboretum.
