Can silver bells chocolate vine be mixed in with trumpet vine?

Answer

Both Akebia quinata and Campsis radicans are agressive plants putting out a lot of foliage. I think they would make good companions with silver bells blooming in May and trumpet vine in late summer. Also, they have different leaf structures which should result in each getting its share of sun light.
