Who may use the library of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society?

I'm a gardener living in Philadelphia. May I use your library? And what are your hours?

We are delighted that you want to use our library! All are welcome to visit our library to use material in the library. We're open 9:30-5, Monday - Friday, and we are located at 100 N. 20th Street, Philadelphia, at the corner of 20th & Arch Streets.

The following groups may borrow printed books, DVDs and eBooks from our circulating collection:

PHS Staff

PHS Community education groups such as Tree Tenders and Garden Tenders are able to borrow printed books and DVDs (sorry, no eBooks). To register for library use and to borrow books, bring your Tree Tender card to the library. Garden Tenders should send an email to to request borrowing privileges. Registered users will need to supply current contact information including name, address, telephone number and email address.
