Can you suggest some ground cover plants for full sun?
Please suggest appropriate ground cover plants for an area in full sun area measuring 5 x 30 feet. I prefer perennials and little to no yearly maintenance. Six shrub stumps and roots are still in the ground and will not be removed.

A few ideas: Ajuga reptans, Dianthus deltoides, Dianthus gratianopolitanus, Geranium endressii, Geranium sanguineum striatum, Nepeta ‘Walkers Low’. Brunnera macrophylla, Hemerocallis (select height that is appropriate for your site, knowing that you will want to hide some of the stumps) and Sedum kamtschaticum. A mix of these will give you color for much of the growing season and hopefully not too much maintenance.
