Where do I get some flowers I saw at the 2011 Philadelphia Flower Show?

At the 2011 Philadelphia Show, in the Subaru exhibit, there were white and pink striped hollyhocks. What variety were they and where can I get seeds?

Answer

The flowers you saw are Mallows, or annual hollyhocks. They have had a few name changes, so you may find them identified as Alcea ‘Zebrina,’ or by its currently accepted name, Malva sylvestris ‘Zebrina.’ Unlike true hollyhocks, which are biennial, these are annuals and will produce flowers the year they are sowed. Googling the above names will give you sources.
