Can we take a cutting from a peony bush and grow a new bush?

Cuttings won’t work. If you want to divide the plant wait until late summer, leaving 3-5 eyes (new growth from the original root clump) per division about 2” below the soil surface. Mulch newly planted peonies to prevent frost heaving.
