Is the PHS McLean Library wheelchair accessible...both entrance and within the library?

Answer

The PHS McLean Library is at street level and is indeed wheelchair accessible.  There are two sets of heavy glass doors to negotiate (from the street into the lobby, and then from the lobby into the library), but there is a security person at the lobby desk who can help with the doors.

Within the library, much is accessible, and there are library staff and volunteers available to assist library users. For more information about the library see our web page. Make the most of your visit by search our subject guides ahead of time. These subject guides are on commonly requested topics such as Orchids or houseplants and contain useful print and online resources. Our library catalog is also online.
