Can you recommend a privacy shrub for part sun?
I am looking for a flowering shrub to use for privacy, with a decent growth rate and one that tolerates part sun. I already have some Viburnum and a Paniculata Hydrangea and am always interested in year round interest. Would Weigela be a nice addition?

Dear Regina: Several shrubs come to mind that have ornamental flowers or berries: Deutzia (there are several varieties of various heights) Clethra alnifolia (fragrant, white or pink flowers mid summer) Callicarpa dichotoma (pink flowers now, but fabulous berries in the fall), Ilex verticillata (select height you need, but also get 1 male and the rest female.
