Moles are eating my newly planted tomato plants, ferns, and others flowers. What can I do to keep my plants?

Dear Gloria: I suspect that moles are not the problem as they are more carnivore-like and eat grubs etc. Do you possibly have a rabbit problem??? If so, try using repellants that are available in the garden centers and change repellants frequently. Also, try a few moth balls around the garden. Fencing is another option but a little more trouble!
