If you are in Philadelphia your best chances for affordable plants are probably from Home Depot or Lowes. Watch for their sales. However be sure the plants look healthy and vigorous. Also if you go to Lancaster County PA there are many nurseries. Do a Google search for Lancaster County PA nurseries. In the spring this makes a wonderful day field trip. Also New Jersey has many local nurseries. Try a search by the town or county you might be visiting.
