My horsechestnut tree does not produce horsechestnuts and it has an early leaf drop. Is this a problem?

Sometimes horse chestnuts just don't produce! Or are too young. It is typical for them to have early leaf drop from a normal fungus. But this doesn't seem to affect the health and survivability of the tree. ep
