We are planning to travel throughout England in July. What are the gardens I should be sure to see?

I checked in with PHS staff member Chela Kleiber, who organizes and leads our overseas trips. Chela's suggestions:
Royal Botanic Garden, Kew in London
Chela advised that visitors to Great Dixter and Sissinghurst need cars to get there.
Another travel planning tip:
Consult the National Garden Scheme's Garden Finder database to search for gardens open to the public based on where and when you will be when travelling in England.
