June 2012 I had to take out daffodil bulbs, kept in garage over winter and they sprouted.

How soon can I plant them? Sprouts are about two inches long.

Answer

Dear Mary:  Plant them now as soon as you can!  They may bloom this year depending on whether the bulbs had enough time in the soil last year to make a new flower.  (The flowers are formed in the bulb after bloom and before the foliage dies down)  If they bloom this year, the bloom will be very late.  Allow the foliage to grow this year and next year the plants should be on the correct timing cycle.
