My weeping cherry bloomed ok but now there are few leaves and it seems that the buds are dying. What can I do to fix this?

It could be lack of water or too much water. If it is not either of these, I recommend that you get in touch with your state university agricultural extension service. They may advise you to send a sample to them for diagnosis.
