When can I plant outdoor bulbs?

Answer

Adolf, this is a perfect time to plant bulbs.  Dig down to a depth three times the height of the bulbs.  Sprinkle a little 10-10-10 fertilizer in the hole, stir it up, add a little more soil so the bulb doesn't sit on the fertilizer, and plant your bulb, the flat side down.  Tulips don't usually bloom more than one year but are beautiful for that time.  Daffodils aren't eaten by deer and other animals and should last for many years.  Bulbs don't like soil that gets quite wet in the summer as it causes them to rot.  Therefore good drainage is key.  Enjoy!  ep
