What is the Community LandCare Program?

Community LandCare Program (CLP), a component of Philadelphia LandCare, contracts with 14 community organizations annually to clean and mow 2,100 parcels of vacant land that has not yet been improved by the “Clean and Green” treatment. More than 80 community residents are employed in this program, giving them a direct role in keeping their neighborhoods clean and safe. The Office of Housing and Community Development selects the CLP organizations through an application process every three years
