Where can I get a floribunda magnolia and what conditions does it require?

Dear Carol: You have selected a very interesting plant. It has several names:
Magnolia floribunda
Magnolia compressa
Michelia floribunda
Michelia compressa
It is very rare and is not hardy in Reading. It is hardy only in zones 10-11. As for a source I would go online and see if any sites offer it. Since it is really a rather tropical plant, it may be difficult to locate, even online. I suspect the nurseries in our area will not carry it.
