Q. Why are my weeping flowering cherry trees not in bloom yet?

Your weeping cherries should have bloomed by now. Cut a small branch to see if it is still green just under the layer of bark. The past winter delayed bloom on many plants but most of the cherries should have bloomed by now. If the branch is dry and woody inside with no green they may not have made it through the winter.
