Can you recommend small trees for a rooftop garden the containers are 4 ft x 2 ft x 2 ft. I would also like to plant mock orange, redvein eniancanthus franklinia, chaste tree and or Carolina allspice.

Consider the amount of weight your roof can support, exposure to sun, shade, wind and the type of soil mix/drainage before you decide what trees to plant. If you are unsure about the weight bearing, etc, contact a reputable landscape architect or designer before you proceed. Although rooftop gardens are attractive you want to make sure that they don't create problems in the future.
