How can I stop the honeydew raining down onto my outdoor dining area?

Insect pests (I can send photo) are raining honeydew down from our magnolia tree onto our center city outside dining area. Too far away to reach with neem oil. Would green lacewings be a possible solution? It's a rather enclosed space (20' x 20') with buildings on three sides and the tree canopy forming the "roof".

Answer

Dear Gail:  You probably will need a professional tree man with the equipment to reach the undersides of your tree with a far reaching professional sprayer.  Be sure to request a non-toxic spray as the site sounds like close quarters and in eating areas.
