In the area North of Philadelphia, hyacinths will probably bloom in mid-April to mid-May. The cold winter we are having will probably set them back a bit This year. You should be able to purchase them in bloom now and certainly by early March. They can be transplanted outside in bloom if it isn't below freezing and if the soil isn't frozen. Chances are that the ground will still be frozen on March 6 th this year.
