How do you make the most of the front of a row home with about 9 feet of lawn?
There is a fence dividing the lawn so I dug up L shape with perrenials, but it is lacking and looks desolate to me.

Dear Karen: I don't know if your homefront is sunny or shady. Also, I don't know where the 'L' shape or the fence are. And where is the front walk in relation to the fence? Can you send us a picture?? I know I can help you but I need more information. As I think about the 9', I think of evergreen plantings against the house, plants along the walk, and a ground cover to a focal planting along the side of the property. I need your input!!!
