Best time to dig and replant from a shady raised bed.

Due to construction, I need to empty out a shady raised bed containing epidendrum, bleeding heart, trout lily, ferns, a large hellebore, and two hosta. What is the best time to do this? I can replant 2 weeks later.

Answer

This would be the ideal time to begin to do this.  As soon as the soil is workable, before too  much growth has started, you can safely dig out and replant the plants, and they should respond well.  Good luck.
