Answer

A really nice little book to track down is

Crazy About Cacti and Succulents, ed. by Ray Rogers. It covers tips and tricks for growing cacti and succulents both indoors and out.

I also suggest any good book on houseplants, such as Barbara Pleasant's The Complete Houseplant Survival Manual.

If you want to read about the human - plant cultural connections having to do with cactus -- including its natural history and uses by humans, then I suggest you read Dan Torre's Cactus (Reaktion Books).

All of the above titles are available to PHS members for borrowing from our library, along with many eBooks on cacti. Or, you can purchase the books on Amazon.
