Where do I get a rain barrel?
I live in Philadelphia and would like to have a rain barrel in my back yard. How do I get one?

If you live in Philadelphia you may be eligible for a free rain barrel through the Philadelphia Water Department’s Rain Check program. To be eligible, you’ll first need to attend a workshop. You can register to attend an upcoming workshop here. (note that we currently have a waiting list, please add your name to it if you wish to attend the workshop).
If you don’t live in Philadelphia or are looking to get a rain barrel on your own, rain barrels are pretty easy to find if you’re thrifty. We recommend checking social media or local neighborhood groups, local gardening centers, or even catering halls. Just be sure whatever barrel you get is food grade, meaning it’s never carried anything toxic. You can purchase a rain barrel parts kit here.”
