Our water pipes are in the front yard where I would like to plant 2 Weeping Willows. Is it true these trees attach to water pipes and cause problems?

Your question is certainly a valid one!! For the safety of the water pipes in your front yard I would not plant Willows. Could you consider a pair of Weeping Cherries?
