I have an earthworm invasion in my concrete courtyard. Hundreds of them...what can I do?

Answer

The earthworms, which actually are a plus in any garden, are not attractive on the concrete.  They are coming to the surface of the earth and moving to the concrete to get air which is in short supply when the nearby soil is saturated. To prevent the worms from breathing on the concrete, correct the drainage in the surrounding area so that the soil does not remain saturated.
