Planted 6 months ago, leaves are yellowing, want someone to look at it and advise me of the best way to keep it alive and healthy

PHS does not offer this service. However, we do have Tree Tenders courses. The PHS Tree Tenders® program offers hands-on tree care training in the five-county Philadelphia region. The training covers tree biology, identification, planting, proper care and working within your community.

Another option is for you to find a "tree doctor" (an arborist) with whom you can consult. You would pay for this service. Go to the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) website and use the ISA database to find a certified arborist in your area. Tip: a search by zip code is the easiest way to search this database. When hiring arborists, be sure to check that they are ISA certified and that they carry insurance.
