I have a questions about my daylilies

they are forming seed pods. Will they bloom again this season if I remove the pods?

Answer

It depends on the variety of daylily. There are singles, doubles, rebloomers, dwarfs, giants, etc.  Some of the rebloomers are 'Happy Returns', 'Rosy Returns',`Fuzz Bunny', 'Daily Bread','Haunting Melody'and 'Stella D'Oro' to name  a few. If you have access to a computer, search for reblooming daylilies for more options. You should divide them every two years, fertilize every spring, deadhead all flowers and provide consistent moisture, but with good drainage. A full sun location is best for prolific bloom.
