Are there any plants that will keep cats from using my flower beds and lawn as their litter box?
A neighbor rescues cats and they use everyone's lawn and flower beds as their litter box. I would like for this to stop. I used a spray that was supposed to keep cats away but this only works for a short time I was hoping that there was some type of plant that would repell them.

A recommendation from Tammi Hartung, from her book, The Wildlife-Friendly Vegetable Gardener:
Try hot chili peppers. The hot burning sensation is a turnoff for cats, squirrels and chipmunks. Attached are a few pages from her book, with more explanation. You might also try contacting the Philadelphia County extension service master gardeners to see if they have any other advice.
