If I cut off all the blooms from my peonies, will they produce fewer blooms the next year?

Answer

It is a good practice to debud spent blossoms on perennial plants. It puts energy that would be spent developing seeds back into the plant. The debudding process does not diminish the amount of blossums in subsequent years.
