How can I rescue geraniums from accidental miracid exposure?

Geraniums share containers with junipers. I fertilized the junipers with miracid (minimal dose; first time in 10+yrs; they had a tough winter) but now geraniums are rapidly turning yellow. I thought sincere I only fertilized the end of the container that had the juniper I would be OK. Other plants in the (20) containers still look OK. I'm willing to put up with sick-looking geraniums for a while if there's hope of eventual recovery.

Answer

I'd drastically cut back the geraniums.  They should come back in a bit, but if not, take them out and put in some new plants.  Good luck.
