How do I fix blossom end rot in my tomatoes?

Answer

Blossom end rot on tomatoes can be prevented by ammending the soil with lime or bone meal before planting. If the soil is already alkaline use the bone meal, since lime will increase the alkalinity of the soil. Good compost will also have calcium in it which is what you are trying to increase. Once the tomatos show signs of blossom end rot, it cannot be reversed.
