Avocado plant (Persea americana) --can I grow outside in the Lanham, Maryland area?
My plant is five feet tall yet in winter I keep inside. Can I keep outside in the winter?

Avocado trees (Persea americana) are not hardy in the mid-Atlantic area and cannot be left outside in the winter.
