What is the exotic vine that is planted near the gate at the PopUp garden on East Passyunk (at 9th & Wharton Streets)?

I lived in South Florida for a few years and saw this vine once at a garden center. I appreciate any info on this beautiful vine. Thanks.

Answer

The vine at the 9th and Wharton site near the gate is Argyreia nervosa known as the Wooly Morning Glory.

You can find a lot of interesting information on the plant -- here is a wikipedia article, but we grow it for the silvery effect on the stem and newly forming foliage.  Hope this helps!
