Tree Identification. Can this be a cherry tree?

Can you help me to identify a tree? It's growing with a lilac tree my mom planted seven years ago. When the lilac bloomed, I also noticed small white flowers that were not lilac. Now, the other tree is 12 feet tall. It has two types of leaves growing on it. One type is veined and slightly serrated. The other type is bi or tri-lobed, sort of like a sassafras leaf. The leaves are about three inches long. There are also small fruit growing now. They started out green but are turning red.

Can you help to identify this plant?

Answer

Cannot tell from your information. If you could send in several good photos and possbily flowers and a leaf it would help.
