Dead tree removal and replacement
My 20 year old plum tree appear to have died. I would like to replace it with another tree. Are there any services available to have this done at no charge?

We are not aware of anyone who performs tree removal services free of charge.
We can't recommend particular arborists for tree removal, but following is a web site listing of certified arborists in the area. You may want to get prices from several of them. This is a good time of year to have the tree removed before they become very busy in the spring. http://www.treesaregood.org/findanarborist/arboristsearch.aspx When you call it would be helpful to them to know the approximate height of the tree, location (front, back yard, etc.), and how accessible it is.
