I keep getting a white milky dust on my crepe myrtle and the leaves wilt.
How can I cure the plant?

Powdery mildew can develop on crape myrtle as early as March in Southeastern PA. Just need warm days, cool nights and high humidity for this fungius to develop. To cure infestations remove infective growth, rake up and destroy fallen leaves, prune out dead and infected branches and twigs, improve air circulation around the plant and remove overhanging branches that are shading the plant. You can avoid the problem by planting resistant varieties and planting in full sun.
