Anyplace in or around Philly that I can view assembled greenhouses for sale?
I'm looking for an 8 x 8 polycarbonate that can take Philly snowloads.

Occassionally I have seen assembled greenhouses at events such as the Philadelphia Flower Show. There are a lot of things to be concerned about when constructing a greenhouse. I do not know of a local supplier of greenhouses that has demo models. The national organization has information on suppliers and supplies. Their web site is

The local chapter is the Indoor Plant Society. They meet at Cathedral Village on the third Saturday in Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Mar, May and June. This Sept. the meeting wiil be held on Sept. 24 from 9am to noon. Over half the members have greenhouses and will share information with you and perhaps let you see the greenhouse.
