Q. Will callas winter over outside in Minnesota? What kind of medium to store or plant in?

Answer

Calla lilies are not hardy and should be brought indoors during the cold weather. Knock the soil off and place them in a mixture of vermiculite and peat. Water litely when dry. In March they can be planted in houseplant soil to get a jump on summer. Don't plant them outside until there is no danger of frost.
