The flower in bloom now is probably Jasminum nudiflorum. It's not really all that fragrant, but blooms before forsythia, is shrubby, low growing, looks great cascading over a wall. It has a very different growth habit from forsythia, although some people have forsythia blooming. Thanks for contacting PHS. ep
