My neighbor and I have climbing hydrangeas which have not bloomed after 4 years of tender care. What to do?

Answer

Your climbing hydrangea likes a certain amount of light. While it's true that they will bloom in light shade, nearby trees may have grown significantly producing too much shade for the plants to produce flowers. If this is the case, prune the tree limbs back to allow more light to reach your plants.
