I purchased a Carolina Jasmine (Gelsemium Sempervirens)and later found research saying it is extremely toxic to humans and bees. Now I am thinking I should destroy it. What is your opinion?

Answer

Carolina jasmine, Gelsemium sempervirens,  is poisoness to humans and animals, especially bees. It is the gardeners choice to remove the plant or continue to grow it. If grown in a protected area like a greenhouse access can be controlled. Outside it is probable best to remove the plant.
